Background
Jeff earned a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy From Nova Southeastern University. His Doctoral Dissertation was a qualitative study on Resilience from Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). Prior to his doctoral work, he graduated with a Masters in Social Work (MSW) from Widener University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
In addition, he trained at The Council For Relationships well- recognized as one of the finest Postgraduate Relationship Training Institutes currently affiliated with Thomas Jefferson University.
He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, qualified supervisor for Social Work and Marriage and Family Therapy Interns. He has helped numerous Social Work Interns pass The Association of Social Work Boards ASWB licensing exam. Jeff has over 15 years of clinical experience working in diverse inpatient settings as well as private practice.
His expertise is in Family Therapy, Couples Therapy, Adolescent Counseling, Elderly Issues, Substance Abuse, Childhood Trauma, Sexual Issues, and Psychotic Spectrum Disorders. Jeff believes in his clients’ Inherent strengths. Rather than taking a manualized approach to therapy, Jeff believes in tailoring interventions to match clients’ specific needs.
Jeff works with his clients collaboratively assisting in forming their own goals and witnessing their goals are actualized. Jeffrey is also a USPTA-Certified Tennis professional, with over 15 years of experience teaching tennis to players of all ages.
